She is known for roles in films such as Panic Room, Zathura, and The Messengers. But this hot and sexy young actress catapulted to stardom when she played the part of Isabella "Bella" Swan in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's bestselling vampire romance, Twilight. Yes, I am talking about Kristen Stewart, one of the today's hottest young celebrities.

Born in Los Angeles, California, Kristen's father John Stewart, is a stage manager and television producer while her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart, is a script supervisor. She began her acting career at the age of eight, and her first role was a nonspeaking part in the movie The Thirteenth Year, followed by another part in the movie The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, and in the independent film The Safety of Objects.

Hot and sexy Kristen garnered positive notices for her performance when she played the sullen, diabetic daughter of a divorced mother (Jodie Foster) in the film Panic Room. It was then followed by roles in several movies, including the lead part in the supernatural thriller movie The Messengers. In November 2007, it was announced that she would play Bella in the movie Twilight. Released in 2008, Twilight was a commercial success, making Kristen and co-star Robert Pattinson two of the hottest young stars of today's generation.

After the release of Twilight, the hot and sexy young celebrity was awarded the MTV Movie Award for Best Female Performance for her portrayal as Bella, and this year, she would be reprising her role in the sequel, New Moon. Kristen would also star in K-11, a film being directed by her mother, and in The Runaways, a biopic of the titular band from writer-director Floria Sigismondi.

"He's like a little tortured artist. He's British. He's tall," the actress said. "He always looks like he's thinking about something. And he's quite witty. So he's pretty sexy."

And that mane of his: "He never stops touching it. People love that."

Guess what Pattinson did on set?! He proposed to this heroine!

"I mean, I don't know how serious he was, but yes," Stewart said. "We spent a lot of time together, a lot of like really heightened time."

What does Pattinson say about all of this: "I can't remember proposing to her. It used to be my thing, I would propose all the time," Pattinson said. "Just go up to someone, you know, and say I love you or ask them to marry you. It always works."
